Hello all !
This juice recipe is a mishmash of holiday leftovers! I encourage anyone who is reading to look into their fridge and modifiy the recipe based on what you have leftover ! As long as you have a balance between sweet fruits and savory veggies you can’t go wrong.
Post Holiday Juice – Everything But the Kitchen Sink
- 1 apple
- 1 grapefruit, peeled
- 2 oranges, peeled
- 1 inch ginger, or more if you like ginger
- baby carrots & celery sticks (leftover from veggie platter)
- 1 cup pineapple (leftover from Christmas morning breakfast)
- 1 cup fresh cranberries (leftover from holiday rice recipe)
- 2 handfuls spinach (leftover from vegan stuffed mushrooms )
- 1 cucumber, peeled
- 2 broccoli stalks (scraps from broccoli)
Throw everything in the juicer and enjoy !
*Note – this makes enough for 2 1L juices with room for ice
This juice pink at the start because of the cranberries and then green because of the spinach / broccoli / celery . Pretty right?
Then I swirled !
This is a fun way to ‘save’ your produce from the garbage or compost bin!
